Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park, nestled on the slopes of Mount Meru, is a hidden gem renowned for its incredible biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes. The park offers a diverse range of habitats, from lush rainforests to savannahs, and from sparkling lakes to rugged alpine terrain. What sets Arusha National Park apart is its remarkable array of wildlife, including giraffes, buffalos, zebras, and an assortment of primates like colobus monkeys. The park is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with over 400 bird species. Adding to its allure are the volcanic features, such as the Ngurdoto Crater and the Meru Crater, both offering panoramic views that seem to stretch to infinity.

What's more, the main gate is only a 20 minute drive from Siringit Villa. Guests of Siringit Villa can enjoy a day trip to Arusha National Park. We recommend an early departure (around 8am) to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities. Next, embark on a game drive through the park, keeping your eyes peeled for the variety of different animals within the park. Make your way to Ngurdoto Crater, a volcanic crater known for its lush vegetation and wildlife. It is a picturesque spot for photography and a great place to see the animals in their natural habitat. After stopping for a tasty picnic lunch, we highly recommend taking a guided walking safari with a park ranger. Walking safaris provide a unique opportunity to experience the nature of the park up close. As the day comes to an end, exit the park and head back to Siringit Villa.

It is also possible to visit Arusha National Park in a self-drive daytrip in a vintage Land Rover. Hit the button below.
